The former England national team coach Capello recently tipped England to qualify till the quarterfinal stage where they now face http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 on Sunday, a prediction that sparked widespread comparisons between Roy Hodgson and the
former England manager...
After countless comparisons between the current England manager, Roy Hodgson and his predecessor http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-c13152 Capello, Hodgson has come out and made it clear that he does not pay attention to what the press says about Capello or himself
as far as the comparisons between the two coaches are concerned as they are a distraction and nothing more.
Hodgson is currently focused totally on England’s quarterfinal tie against Italy, a tie that they need to win in order to set up a semi-final date with either http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 national team manager has done well in
his new http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 in the quarterfinals.
Moreover Hodgson has also managed the press very well as he has not built up the England national team as an outfit which is a favourite to win the European Championships. Humility and humbleness have been at the centre of Hodgson’s
attitude in front of the press where he has dealt with things diplomatically and also kept the England camp in order along with it.
Hodgson said, "Obviously there will be lots of things written that are not 100% truthful or that I wouldn't want to read or hear, but that's life. That won't stop me from preparing the team and it will only become a hindrance if
we allow it."
He also spoke about his stint at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan in Italy as their club manager as he said, "It was different. I went there after winning the Danish championship with FC Copenhagen. It was a very different way of working at Udine to
the way I had been used to at Inter.”
Hodgson has drilled discipline into the current English crop of players at his disposal which has been central to their march to the knockout stages but things are bound to get more difficult from here on in as the Italians will
test the English defence and try to poke holes in the likes of Terry and Lescott.
