Roy Hodgson; confident to improve Liverpool’s performance
The new season of Premier League football has not turned out to be very lucky for the Liverpool Football club as the club's performance is not very impressive these days. Currently the Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson is busy in experimenting
and giving his squad a new confidence boost to improve its performance.
The performance of Liverpool football club is not very impressive in the ongoing new season of English Premier League and the administrator of the club Roy Hodgson looks very concerned about the matter. In a very recent interview
the sixty three year old expressed his thoughts and aims for the club and told the media that ups and downs are a part of the game but his team has got all the required talent and potential to display a brilliant game of football. He said that the players
are a little out of touch but he is very hopeful that the team will display some improvement very soon.
It is also to be noted that the fans of the Liverpool football club are not very happy with the American owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks. The fans are now planning to set a sit in protest against the owners of the club today.
When Hodgson was asked about the issue he explained himself very calmly and told the media that the protest has nothing to do with the performance of the team and the situation will remain the same even after the protest of the Liverpool fans.
It is to be remembered that the management of the Liverpool football club is dealing with some issues regarding the ownership of the respective club. It is also reported that the chairman of The Reds, Martin Broughton has been
on the hunt to sale the club as early as possible before the deadline of repaying or refinancing of the club by the Royal Bank of Scotland comes.
When the sixty three year old manager was asked about the issues of ownership of the club and club's management, he replied by saying that he is very happy with the club management and he likes each and everything thing about the
club. He added that he is looking forward for a better owner of the club so that the issues can be resolved as quickly as possible. The issues between the management always affect the game and performance of the club but Hodgson seem very relaxed and satisfied.
When he was asked about his ambitions and plans regarding the particular matter, the former Fulham administrator said that the matter will not affect the performance of the players because they are very confident and everyone who is connected to the club is
loyal and thinks for the best of the club. He said that currently the issues are creating some distraction but he is very hopeful that the issues will be resolved very soon.
The Reds are now going to face Sunderland next week and according to Hodgson the match is going to be fantastic and thrilling. He said that the match on Wednesday is very important for the team and a victory in the match will definitely
give them a strong confidence boost. Liverpool is currently standing at the sixteenth spot in the standings table of Premier League. The thrashing defeat from the Northampton was also a very strong blow to the club. While talking about the previous poor performances
by Liverpool, the veteran coach admitted the fact that the performances are not good at all and said that the previous defeats have made the team eager to perform better and the world will see a tremendous improvement in the upcoming matches.
