The England national team manager has come out and praised John Terry in his latest press conference and has also made it clear that England should grab the chance to beat http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 in their quarterfinal, so that they can hold
their heads high without any regrets at the 2012 European Championships...

England have a woeful history at the European Championships as their best tournament came in 1996 on home soil when the Three Lions lost out to Germany in the semi-finals via a penalty shootout. It was a heartbreaking moment for
the English but this time around they have a chance to erase that memory and admonish any regrets as they are set to take on Italy on Sunday evening.
A lot has been said thus far about the England style of play but Hodgson is adamant that his team can do a http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 topped
their group with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 finishing second but now the Les Blues are out of the tournament courtesy of Spain’s 2-0 win over them on Saturday evening.
England will definitely want to best Italy but it won’t be an easy task as Prandelli’s men have been doing quite well themselves. Italy have been playing attacking football as Pirlo and Cassano have been their key players up till
now.
Hodgson said, "As a coach you have to be very careful taking on board these rumours, fears and suggestions.  It is so important you choose the players you think are the right ones that you work with them and get the experience
for yourself. I can only talk about John and the four or five weeks I have been working with him. He has been a top-class professional and very good off the field as well."
England can take heart from the fact that Chiellini will miss the quarterfinal from the Italian side and the Juventus man has been crucial for the Italians as far as their strength at the back goes. Perhaps the likes of Rooney
and co. can take advantage of his absence and gain a place in the semis.
