Roy Hodgson out - New players in
Things at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 seem to be at an all time low. However, it seems like the club owners have finally had enough of the way things are going and are now looking to part ways with Roy Hodgson and
bring in Kenny Dalglish, to replace the manager.
According to numerous sources, it seems like the owners are in fact looking to terminate the manager almost immediately and if they can't find a competent manager in time, they would be more than
happy to appoint a caretaker manager to fill in for the rest of the season. As a result, Kenny Dalglish has been linked with a highly emotional return to the club.
This is despite the fact that Liverpool managed to go ahead and pick up a last minute win against Bolton, on Saturday. It has been reported that another reason that has spurred the owners to look
elsewhere for a manager is because of the fact that Hodgson has had a major break down in his relationship with the club's fans and with not even the fans on his side, there is very little that Hodgson can do to convince the owners of his abilities. This is
because the manager has failed to replicate even half of the success that he had with Fulham.
However, there is yet some good news for Liverpool fans. According to sources, there could be an inflow of a player or two at Anfield. This is of course if the club's owners can land the players
that they are currently targeting.
It is being reported that the team are looking to make moves for both Stoke City's captain http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ashley-Young-c6813.
The owners of the club had in the past been more than just reluctant with pursuing new players in the winters, however, it seems like they now have almost no choice but to land new players in hopes
to save the team from even more humiliation in the future.
It will be interesting to see if players would be willing to move to Anfield considering the situation the team is in at the moment. But one thing is for sure, Roy will be hoping for the tide to
turn soon, otherwise his future at Anfield looks as uncertain as his team's form.
