The West Bromwich Albion manager has made it clear that he will leave the Hawthorns stadium and take up the offer to manage England if such an offer is made to him by the English Football Association...
With the European Championships looming large the England national team are trying hard to find their perfect manager after the surprise departure of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-c13152 Capello earlier on in the year. Capello parted ways with the English national
team after a fall out with the Football Association following a disagreement over the removal of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/John-Terry-c18895 as the national team captain.
F.A took the decision to dismiss Terry as the national team captain following the racism allegations that revolved around the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 man but Capello disagreed with this decision and walked out in the end. Roy Hodgson is one of
the managers who has been built up to take over from Capello but at the moment Harry Redknapp seems to be the favourite to take over at the national team headquarters.
Hodgson said, "I don't know that [the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 manager's job] is an ambition as such. It would be an honour of course if ever the offer came my way, because it's the pinnacle of success in a way, and certainly of coaching success
if you are ever invited to manage your own country. Of course, I think that anyone would."
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Keith-Andrews-c20525 has added to the talk of Hodgson taking over as the England national team manager, he said, "We all hope Roy Hodgson stays at West Brom but he is linked with England for a reason, the reason being he is very good
at his job. If you ask the players here, or players who have played under him at previous clubs, all the feedback is so positive and his enthusiasm and love for the game is very infectious."
Hodgson has done with West Brom but before his appointment at the midlands club, he was at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 where the Englishman failed to make an impact as the Reds finally hard to replace him with Kenny Dalglish, who has not done a
spectacular http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 either.
