The fight is almost agreed on and almost done so most likely it will happen. Who do you think will win. I have Jones in a UD. He looked very impressive his last fight against Tito. It will be a great fight. Roy doesnt have the super human speed he had but he is the the fastest in his weight class in my opinion. Who do you think will win this fight?

  1. I've been a big Roy Jones fan over the years but if B-Hop didn't beat Calzaghe with his crafty tactics i don't think Roy can get him , there will definitely be alot of show-boating on both parts, the Tito fight didn't impress me, Joe will get the decision

  2. Since Roy started his comeback, he's looked better each time.  IF he can continue that, he's gonna whup the Welshie.

But lets be fair, Roy Jones can't sustain offense, and Joe Calzaghe can.  Joe's gonna win a decision, but I'll be in the local church sanctuary praying for a Jones victory.

Dear Father in heaven..please turn back the clock 10 years on Roy Jones....

  3. Well, now that Roy is a washed-up, old fighter who is way past his pound-for-pound days, I'll give it to Joe. Let's face it, Roy is just looking to keep the attention of boxing fans and not fall out of the spotlight, he seems to be in denial about his deterioration. This, coupled with his own faith that he hasn't aged a day, is why he took this fight. I dont want to be too hard on Roy, because he still has some of his old skills and speed. I really don't know who will win, but my intuition tells me Joe will. I hope that Roy just trains his butt off for this fight and studies all the tapes, the only way he can win is if he is serious. He looked good against Trinidad, and since Joe barely beat Hopkins, he can win, he's also 4 years younger than Hopkins, but also 4 years older than Joe. At the same time, speed deteriorates with age, smarts dont, and thats what Hopkins is all about.

  4. this fight is between to grumpy old men and the winner will be the one with the faster hands. RJ had fast hands in his heyday and some of it diminished now but still very quick. Calzaghe throws punches from every angle imaginable and has a chin of granite. So whoever will win the fight has either gotten more punches off and landed them cleanly or just flat out knocked the other person out.
