i don't think it will ever happen, as pavlik will more than likely stick around at 160 to hopefully take on the best at the weight before moving up to super middle to do the same there.

by the time he gets to light heavy, jones will have retired, or else he will be to old to be able to fend off pavlik.

I want to see kelly beat King Aurtur and Felix Sturm and clean up the middleweight divison. Then maybe a fight with a big name guy made hopkins or oscar

This would be a bad fight for Jones, I don't want to see Roy Jones Jr. end his career with that kind of a beating.  Roy had best leave the youngster's alone, especially the heavy hitters.  I think Roy, if he insists on continuing his career should look towards someone like Winky Wright.  Wink is respected, and doesn't have explosive KO power.  Jones would be better served fighting counter punchers, fighter's that pressure him with power will eventually test Roy's chin, and at this stage of his career, I'm not sure it will pass the test.

I think Kelly would beat Roy. I want kelly to beat Arthur Abraham and Felix Sturm. I would love to see him against Winky Wright.

For me, it's all about Pavlik's weight.  If he can make 160 without sacrificing strength, I think he should focus on reigning as the middleweight champ.  If he can't make 160, then the move up and a fight against Jones is what we want.  As a boxing fan, I just like the idea of Pavlik consolidating the titles and having a long run as champ.  He can let the challengers come to him as opposed to moving up and challenging others.  

Do i want to see the fight?  Only if KP can't make weight at 160.

Did you not see what Tarver and Johnson have done to Roy lately and you want him to get in with one of the hardest pound for pound punchers in the world right now. This would be Roys last fight if this was ever put together.

I would love to see this fight too!  I'm a huge RJJ fan and I personally like to see Roy fight fighters smaller than him, since he's getting older and he's fought fighters bigger/heavier than him his entire career, except for Trinidad.  Roy still has something left in his tank, he's not the young RJJ, but he can still work!  

I want to see Roy vs Calzaghe or Hopkins too!

Roy made easy work of Trinidad, when a lot of people thought Trinidad was going to knock Roy out.  I knew Roy would have an easy time against Trinidad because like I said before, he's always fought guys bigger than him, and Roy is naturally bigger than Trinidad.  Trinidad might have power against guys around 160, but not against RJJ, a fight who stepped up to 200 lbs and beat John Ruiz for the Heavyweight Championship!

i think kelly pavlik can clean up the middleweight division and that him joe calzaghe would be the match to see,as for roy jr. he might have the size and speed to give pavlik trouble but i would still favor pavlik.besides a big payday i dont know what pavlik could gain from the fight. i think pavlik should stay at under 168 ,plenty of big fights there for him. i wouldnt mind seeing a jones jr.- pavlik fight ,but it wouldnt be on the top of fights i want to see, roy is old and isnt an exciting fighter any more.

I'd love to see this as well as Pavlik verse Trinidad but would rather see Pavlik clean out the middleweight division first and unify the titles. He is suppose to fight undefeated prospect John Duddy in June and then a unification match with Aurthur Abraham. Felix Strum has the other title so I imagine he would be the next middleweight he would look toward. There has already been talk of Pavlik Trinidad as a sincere possibility.

As for Roy Jones I think he may be a little too heavy for Kelly Pavlik right now as he is a much bigger fighter. In a year or so Pavlik may comfortably be able to put on enough weight to make it a better boxing match. He has the power now it is just a matter of experience and perhaps working on better defense and countering.
