Roy Makaay hopes Schweinsteiger wins Euro 2012

The former Bayern Munich striker revealed he is hoping to see his former teammate Schweinsteiger win the 2012 European Championships with Germany.
The Dutchman spent four successful years at the Munich club; he boasted a prolific record of 102 goals in 178 games and lifted the Bundesliga twice in his four-year spell with the Bavarian club.
Following his country’s elimination from the 2012 European Championships, he is closely monitoring Germany’s progress. After a few disappointing results in the friendlies the Mannschaft have hit form at the right time.

to see his former Bayern teammate Schweinsteiger lift the Euro 2012.
"Germany have an excellent team. I think Spain are top favourites, but immediately after them I see Germany. I especially wish that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bastian-Schweinsteiger-c7374 lifts the European title," he is quoted as saying in an interview.
The DFB eleven face Italy on Thursday in their last four clash of the European Championships. He reckons Bastian’s team will have to dig in deep to get a result against Cesare Prandelli’s men, who are capable of frustrating their
opponents.
