Question:

Royal Bank Of Scotland - Destroying or Helping the Environment?

Recently Ive heard a great deal of bad press about RBS, that they sponsor fossil fuel companies and indirectly cause massive damage to the environment, then I picked up a leaflet today from Natwest, which said RBS are the 'largest financier of renewable energy in the World, with over $2 billion committed in 2006 alone!'.

So who's right? Cheers.

  1. RBS own Nat West as you might know.  So, its not hard to see that Nat West will put RBS in a favourable light when it comes to promoting.  RBS are a massive massive global bank that are only interested in the bottom line. An effective PR campaign can realign any public whispers (such as what you see in NatWest).

I used to work for RBS.  dont believe everything you read from one source, go and reference it against other sources to check its validity.

  2. this is news to me!!  I  work  for  RBS's rival!!!!
