  1. Haven't experienced Majesty personally but, I do recommend checking out reviews on Cruise Critic.  I also know Majesty has under gone a major renovation, so, I'm sure you'll have a very positive cruise experience.

Here's the link about the renovation:

And here's reviews for this ship on Cruise Critic (real reviews, written by real people):

  2. I just took a cruise on the Majesty from December 18-22. Overall, the ship experience was good. I think the food was pretty good, but make sure you never eat the main dining room - go to the Windjammer(casual dining) on the 11th deck, the menu is the exact same, and you get as much as you want, and they also have stir fry bar where the chef makes you whatever you want - the same with breakfast(omellettes). The rooms are very small though, we had an oceanview cabin on the 4th floor, only 122sq ft, but you don't really spend a lot of time in your cabin. The ship is older, and you can see a bit of aging. However, Royal Caribbean just did a huge makeover in February, all rooms now have flat screen TV's, and they renovated all the cabin bathrooms, which was the one thing that needed the most attention, so that's good. The majesty is family friendly and for partiers too. They have a kids program, and lots of bars/clubs as well. They shows/comedy  in the theatre nightly. As for the ports of call, Nassau is really dirty, trust me. I wouldn't even go there, and don't believe the shopping is good because it's not. I would head over to Paradise Island/Atlantis Resort, it's absolutely beautiful, the water is so clear and the scenery is the best. You can take a water taxi for $3 to get there. We actually didn't get to go to Coco Cay beacause of the weather, but strangely a lot of people I know have said the same thing. I think Royal Caribbean does this for reasons other than what they say(maybe maintenance hasn't been done on the island - it's privately owned by RCL). The cruise is good if you're on a budget, and taking a family or just going for romance. Don't expect anything elegant, but it probably is better with the renovations and all. I think you'll have a good time, as long as you know what to expect.

  3. I was on this ship two years ago and had a BLAST!!!  Ocean view is nice, that's what we had.  Make sure you see Paradise Island when you stop in Nassau.  Nassau was nothing to see for us.  Seemed unpleasant, dirty and to many ppl trying to get you to buy something.  Paradise Island is much different/better.  Below is another site you can read reviews.  Take me with you...................   :-)
