Royal Caribbean-Freedom of the Seas, any tips?

Question

My husband and I are taking a R.C. Western Caribbean Cruise on the Freedom of the Seas in May. I've cruised before, but never on this ship. There's a ton to see, I'm sure since it is the largest ship in the world. I'd like to go with some inside info.

Just wondering if anyone who has been on this ship had any tips? Anything to skip or any must sees? Activities that are great or not so great? Must sees for shore excursions or ports?

Went with my husband last October and loved the ship. You're pampered like royalty.

TIPS : 1. Try the flowrider -it's fun!

2. Watch all the shows at the ARCADIA THEATER. marriage games, comedy shows and their play (forgot the title) It's the greatest!

3. Only eat at Leonardo's at dinner time- it's better than their buffet -eat the buffet during lunch time

4. Try their gym!

5. Go to the bar overlooking the ship

Shore excursions lets u pay extra, its great without them anyway.

I love cruises i been on 2 in caribbean , they treat you so good .........Good luck in the casinos.....need to bring formal wear for dinner.....they have tons of other activities on board if dont like gambling

Been on the Eastern Caribbean run with Mariner of the Seas (sister ship to Freedom of te Seas).  Fabulous cruise line.  Great staff.  Lots of great food and entertainment.  Lots of variety in terms of restaurants and bars on board.  Way too many things to do on board.  Stay away from the jewelry shopping stuff.  It can eat up a lot of time.  Enjoy!

oh  oh my gosh! i m going the same exact cruise to the same place! - but in a differnt moth- in june to be exact lol. well yeah i looked up reviews for it and it got grate reviews.- ive been on royal carribean cruises before and they are beautiful and the food is delicious! you will have a great time on this cruise line and freedom of the seas is one of there best!
