  1. Don't.

  2. As long as they are a little dressy you will be ok. have fun on your cruise. You will have a blast. Eat lots of ice cream it is the best.

  3. I worked on cruise ships, and if you wear flip flops they wont let you in the dining room. They will let you go in the "Windjammer" which is like a casual all you can eat buffet.

  4. I wouldn't. Flip flops aren't very formal.

  5. flip flop   not aloud

  6. We cruise probably twice a year- at least once on Royal Carribean(our favorite!!!!!)  Now my husband and I choose to not participate in the formal nights only because it's just extra luggage- the dress, the shoes, the purse..etc..  We just aren't the dress up types.  BUT- that is OUR choice so out of respect for those who DO want to dress - we don't intrude in the dining room.  (The Windjammer serves all the same food except the lobster- and it's more casual)  However, we see ALOT of people go into the dining room in T-shirts, mini skirts, flip flops- we just think it's sad that they are allowed in nowadays.

So- why not buy a pair of sparkly flip flops?  Something with sequins- not neccessarily rubber ones but compact.  Or make your own.  Add a big flower.  I got a great pair of silver sparkly flip flops from KMart of all places for about $10 and I wear them everywhere and get lots of compliments.  But you probably couldn't wear them at the pool since they are woven and not the rubber waterproof.  Hope this helps!
