In 2009 Royal Caribbean will come out with a new class, currently called the Genesis project.  Two ships have been ordered.  One will begin sailing in 2009 and the other in 2010.  These ships will be the biggest cruise ships afloat (220,000 GRT).  The current biggest cruise ships are the Freedom class at 158,300 GRT.
