I'm going on a Royal Caribbean cruise soon, i will be in the 12-14 year old age group. So do i have to sign up to get into there teen parties? Will i have to wear a wrist band? Do they check to see how old you are before you go in? Are the parties held within seperate age groups, or all the considered teens together? There so called "teen" groups are between the ages of 12-17 and the groups within that are 12-14 & 15-17. Thanks everyone an please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. Once you get on the ship, you can attend any events that are designed for your age group. See the front desk or Concierge if you have any questions.

You will be placed into a group depending on your age.

Check out royalcaribbean.com for more info.

  2. I just got off of a Royal Caribbean cruise YESTERDAY! and it was so awesome!  You're going to have a blast.  (I'm 17 years old.)  I'll answer your questions in order:

No, you don't have to sign up for parties.  Every day, you'll get a thing called a "Cruise Compass", which tells you everything that's going on on the ship.  You can also get one at the guest relations desk specifically for your age group, 12-14, which outlines all of the special events just for you guys!  There will be things like scavenger hunts, dances, Wii tournaments, and more.

You won't have to wear a wristband.  Those are just for the younger kids so in case of an emergency, they will know where to go to find their parents.

For age-specific events, they'll probably check your age.

They have two teen clubs (well, the ship I was on had two, I don't know which one you're going on... I was on the Mariner), and most of the time, these are open to teens 12-17.  However, they will have times where just 12-14 are allowed in and others where just 15-17 are allowed in.

    HAVE FUN!!!!
