My husband and I are planning on going on a med cruise on royal carribean in October (5th to 18th). We are active adults in our late 20s and this will be our first cruise.

The cruise will be mainly around the Italian coastline.

We are worried about how the weather will be in the sea during that period? Will we be able to use the pools or will it be too cold ?

Also, what age group will the cruisers be ?

  1. Go to cruisecritic.com and click on " Boards" than register for a free account. Than click on roll calls and find out who else who is cruising with you. To make a long story short. In the roll call forms you should be able to meet others that are cruising with you that are in your age group.

  2. You will probably be able to use the pools on board the ship during the day although you will most likely be doing shore excursions during the day when in port. Weather will be a little cool so prepare for layers.

Most cruises over 7 nights will have more middle and upper age because of the length of time but there should be some younger couples too. There will be some children but mostly younger as it is school time so not that many families will travel in this time frame and take kids out of school. I would also think you will find a good number of Europeons on the cruise.

You should have a good time and find compatible couples to associate with on board of all age groups. Have a great cruise.
