Royal Envoy eyeing on victory at Kempton – 32redbingo.Com Handicap Preview
Paul Howling’s black gelding, Royal Envoy, will surely show an outstanding performance at Kempton racecourse on Thursday, March 1 and seal a big victory in 32redbingo. Com Handicap race which is scheduled to start at 5:40 (GMT).
The £1,456 contest of 6f distance has received a dozen of entries including Hambleton, Hollie, Sabys Gem, Litotes, Little Perisher, Bobbyow, Takajan, Metropolitan Chief, Royal Envoy, Littleportnbrandy, Spoof Master and Flow Chart.
Royal Envoy undisputedly stands above all on the basis of his vast on-field experience, excellent skills and some decent victories.
The nine-year-old veteran runner started his career in September 2005. He earned his maiden success in May 2006. His second victory came in October 2007.
During January-May 2008, the dashing gelding exhibited a number of fabulous runs and accomplished four triumphs. This was the most successful period of his career.
Royal Envoy boosted up his confidence to a great extent by winning a mega race on January 25, 2012 at Kempton track.
Thus, Howling’s trainee is afloat with spirit and form at the moment. He is supposed to capitalise well on this momentum and achieve a big hallmark in today’s outing at the same venue.
It is hoped that the gelding’s familiarity with the ground will help him run confidently. Let us see how he struggles for success.
Among other eleven runners, Bobbyow and Metropolitan Chief are likely to run well and finish second and third respectively in the race.
Bobbyow has been winless since his debut in June 2010. However, Terry Clement’s black gelding has been enjoying good from since last few weeks, finishing third and second in his last two outings at Kempton during February 2012.
The four-year-old runner is supposed to show a decent performance again today and grab second top spot.
Metropolitan Chief has won just 3 out of his total 67 outings to date. However, he has delivered some sterling performances in his long career.
After finishing third in his second last race on February 16, 2012, Paul Burgoyne’s black gelding grabbed 8th spot in the subsequent outing on February 23. He ran both these races at Kempton.
The veteran gelding is likely to do well and finish third in today’s contest.
