Royal Etiquette expected to win the Worthington´s Handicap
Royal Etiquette is likely to win the Worthington´s Handicap at Kempton in England on Tuesday, March 20, 2012. The winner of the race will be given a cash prize of £1,617.
The going will be standard in the 1 mile 2 furlong race, which is scheduled to start at 2:40 GMT, and a total of 10 runners have been attracted towards it. The names of them are as follows: Royal Etiquette, Ermyntrude, Spartan King, Trecase, Broughton
Place, Tinkerbell Will, Tous Les Deux, Roman Flame, Endaxi Mana Mou and Our Georgie Girl.
The bookmakers have complete confidence in the abilities of Royal Etiquette, despite that fact that he does not managed to win any race until now in his career. However, compared to the rest of the participants, he seems to be in the best position
to win.
The five-year-old gelding has taken part in 19 races overall, winning none of them. He secured three runners up spots whereas finished third on the four occasions. This suggests that he has the ability to challenge his rivals for race victories, but
will need some luck on his side.
Lawney Hill’s trainee has been in decent form recently. However, victories have eluded him for the past many years. This will discourage the punters from placing bets in favour of his victory.
The race favourite runner will be partnered by Dane O'Neill, who has enjoyed some success at this level. He has won quite a lot of races at this level and has a decent strike rate. He will be looking forward to another solid show at Kempton today.
Another runner expected to do well at Kempton is, Trecase, trained by Tony Carroll. He has been in good form, thus might manage to cause a few problems for the race favourite horse. He brought up his maiden victory recently at the same venue and will
be full of confidence.
However, the five-year-old gelding has a poor strike rate, as he has won just one race out of 23 attempts. His recent form is what matters the most though, and he finished as runner up in his most recent outing.
None of the other participants seem to be in good form at the moment, which leaves Royal Etiquette and Trecase in a very good position today.
