Royal Mail - Latest delivery times?

Question

Hey, does anyone know what Royal Mail's latest delivery times are? I think they're 2pm, but I cant remember.

This is for a 2nd class posted package (I think)

Would 1st class make any difference to the latest time?

The Royal mail no longer does a 2nd delivery

What time your post arrives depends on what time your postman starts

Some depots have determined that it is against Health and safety advice to have their postman walking around in the dark so their post man don't start to deliver until 8am some still allow their posties to start at 5 am

What your latest time for delivery is dependent on your sorting offices decision

Posties do deliver junk mail as a second post but only cos that is overtime and they get 1,1/2

pence per leaflet delivered

It depends on where you live. I live in a rural area and only get 1 delivery a day. When it arrives can vary from 11am until about 4pm. The postman has to deliver to lots of isolated houses and farms which are up single track roads and then back to the main road so weather conditions can affect how long that takes.

I think Royal Mail do a good job when you consider for the cost of a stamp which is about 30p you can send a letter from one end of the country to the other in a couple of days.

If the nit pickers think it takes too long then send an email.

royal mail is in a right mess! ive had letters delivered as late as 4pm.

they said because my postman was not well, another postman had to do his own round then do this other guys!

ive had people post things to me first class and its still taken 2 days to get here.

i think its disgusting but royal mail dont care.

latest delivery times around ours are about 4.30pm, the lazy gets.
