Question:

Royal Mail collection problem!?

by  |  earlier

My parcel was 'delivered' to my neighbour, (who is away for three months) so i assume that a 'please collect from post office card' has been left there. i have no way of getting the card and i really need the parcel. Is there anything i can do??

I've tried calling Royal Mail but all the lines are dead!

Many thanks!

  1. dont think so, ive had it to here with royal mail and post missing

  2. Go to your local sorting office. You should take some proof of ID with you and state that what has happened.

  3. Go down to your local sorting office and explain the situation, with a recent utility bill and preferably some photo ID too just to show that you are who you say you are. They should be find with it.

Then again, if they're anything like mine then they won't even check your ID - mine don't even check what's on the red slip.

  4. If you go down to your local sorting office, with proof of identity (drivers licence, utility bill etc) and explain the situation there should be no problem.
