i am thinking of buying one or two royal pythons and was wondering if it would be okay to put a male and female in the same cage even though they're babies. Can i put them in the same cage or do i buy two cages?

I DON'T want to breed them so is it possible to get them spade or something?

  1. yes you can put them in same cage.

and no they wont eat echother when is feeding time i havd 22 in a 55 gl babys and fed them mice 2gether. if you want to make sure they dont bit eachother when feeling seperate them feed them in little boxes. they are not king snakes they dont uselly kill and eat eachother at less the snakes dies on its own then they may eat the body.

  2. you cant spay or neuter a snake. even if you could, ball pythons can be aggressive. i would suggest separating them when they get a bit older. but because you would have 2, feed them in a separate cage. the bath tub works fine for this. feed one at a time, one after the other. make sure there is more than two hides, one for each snake. and dont hold the snake right after eating, give it 2-3 days. email me for anymore questions you might have.

    good luck!

  3. Honestly its actually not that easy for snakes to breed. It can be difficult. You have to have it a specific temperature and so much more. You will be fine.

  4. If you dont want to have snake babies you should get a male ONLY. And you do have to seperate them they would end up killing each other when its feeding time.Think about how ugly its gonna get O_O.Best bet Is to get a male

  5. i would recomend only 1 snake unless your willing to pay around $300.00

  6. You can house them together until they are adults. which is like 2 years?
