Royal Rock expected to thrive in Jury Stakes
Royal Rock is expected to clinch top spot in the Timeform Jury Stakes (Registered As The John Of Gaunt), the Group 3 contest that will go down at Haydock racecourse on Saturday, June 2. The Group 3 race will commence at 2:35 (GMT).
Royal Rock possesses an impressive and outstanding track record. The Chris Wall-trained bay gelding has elegantly won 8 of his total 25 starts so far.
The eight-year-old maverick horse marvellously bagged a couple of consecutive triumphs on September 13 and October 1, 2011. He moved on to finish 4th in each of his last two starts---in both these races, he faced more than ten rivals.
Currently, the talented son of Sakhee out of Vanishing Point is carrying immense confidence and fighting spirit that will lend a great hand to him in the Jury Stakes.
On the good track of 7 furlongs, the brilliant gelding will face 7 competitors including Doncaster Rover, Gossamer Seed, Majestic Myles, Pastoral Player, Red Jazz, Six Of Hearts and Perfect Tribute.
Royal Rock will unleash a rock-solid run in the coming contest. His chances to finish first are as high as 95 percent.
Among the other runners, Gossamer Seed and Red Jazz are likely to perform well for success.
Gossamer Seed nicely finished first in her last outing on May 7, 2012. The John Joseph Murphy-trained veteran filly has won 3 of her total 13 starts to date. She looks to be strong enough on the card and she will defiantly give tough time to Royal Rock.
On the other hand, Red Jazz has 5 classic triumphs to his name. The Charles Hills-trained bay horse excellently finished as a runner-up in a big race on July 26, 2012. He moved on to finish 3rd against a dozen or rivals in his second last race
March 31, 2012. He nicely claimed first position in the subsequent start on May 12.
In this situation, there will be a fierce battle tomorrow. The event will draw a big bankroll. Let us go for the classic action. Good luck to all the contestants.
