  1. If you are looking for more to do onboard, Royal Caribbean is the way to go.  If you are looking for a cheaper cruise with more of a "party" onboard, then Carnival is probably the better choice.  Royal Caribbean also has some great deals, which sometimes can meet or beat Carnival's prices.  It just really depends on what you are trying to get out of your vacation.  I personally like Royal Caribbean.  The entertainment is great, as are the onboard activities and staff.

  2. i think they are fairly similar cruise products.

royal carribean is more active and may have more variety with their activities on board.

carnival tends to have younger people and a party atmosphere.

  3. Royal and Carnival are both great, I prefer Carnival since I had no complaints about them, Royal I had some complaints about the food.

Once you decided, I suggest to go here and request a quote from them:

  4. Alot depends on the ship and length of cruise you are thinking about. i have been on both and as long as you stay with RCL's newest ships  you'll do fine. I wasnt that impressed with the food or entertainment but to each his own. I have been on 7 different carnival ships and have found a wonderful consistancy throught the line, which is what keeps me coming back. The rooms are larger and I personally find the food better. If the rock climbing wall, ice rink , etc are important then by all mean go with RCL. Im more of a pool/hang out type person and love carnival. You will find people who feel strongly about ewach crusie line and so much depends on personal expectations. You can check out cruisecritic.com for information by ship, cruiseline and pot of call, including a roll call section for people on the ship you choose  Have fun which ever you choose

  5. I've been on Princess, Celbrity and Carnival and prefered Carnival because there were more "party" people on board who wanted to mix it up and really have fun.  Fewer children and more shows and entertainment.  I enjoyed the staff and the accomidations.  Rooms were a tiny bit bigger but nothing to write home about.

  6. Royal Caribbean is a GREAT line. If you would like more info send me an emial at Kirk.Kelly@sixxpakTravel.com and i will get you any and all info you need.

  7. E. My Choice would be Carnival although both are good companies RCL has had some bad Press of late add to that a scaling back of their workforce (25-30%). Also I see your planning a Honeymoon perhaps you should look into a Honeymoon registry service. if you would like more info feel free to contact me at gottaflytravel@yahoo.com
