  1. I have been on the Freedom and I can tell you that you will have a ball of a time.  The ship has a special area called Adventure Ocean and close by that is the teen club/disco area called Fuel.  Its the place just for teens to hang out and the only adult is the ship's personnel who takes care of it and arranges activities.  They have music and serve non-alcoholic drinks, have pizza, hot dogs and hamburgers, fries.  Then close by that is the video arcade; you have to pay to play games.  Then when you are not in the teen disco you can try the rock climbing wall (its free), go ice skating (free), play mini-golf (free), play basketball, or try the Flowrider (that's a place on the back of the ship where you can surf on a boogie board right on ship.  They have stadium seating on both sides of it so you can watch others while waiting for your turn.

Then you can also go to the shows in the main show room each evening, you can get in the pools and hot tubs, and you can even play in the kid's water park called the H2O Zone.  It has a small lazy river, a bunch of water cannons and stuff and a pool.  Then there is a great free ice show that you should not miss.

  2. they have a program specifically for 13-17.  Its alot of fun and a good way to meet other teens.

Teen clubs, not much, definitely no alcohol.

  3. this makes me so sad to answer your question, because i just went on a freedom of the seas cruise to the Caribbean in the summer, and i really wanna go back.

i am a teen too, and i had a great time.

the teen clubs are fun with loud music and a dance floor.

sometimes it gets a bit crowded, so i just hung out with my cousins and other friends i met on the ship at the pool or the game room.

the activities that the ship provides for the teens are cool, but some of them are a little cheesy, especially for teenagers.

i would try the scavenger hunts or karaoke though.

i liked hanging out in the promenade too.. you have to try the chicken potato pizza at the pizza shop.. it is so delicious!

and the peanut butter cookies from the coffee place.

the promenade is great to eat, shop, and just relax with your friends. i spent most of my time there.

have a great time on your cruise!

i am so jealous, but i plan to return on the ship, so i'm excited.

you can also try the website: cruisecritic.com

they have special forums for teens and different articles about all the islands, boats, and programs.

    have fun and good luck!

  5. The Freedom class ships have pools, a rock climbing wall, an ice rink, a Flowrider (a surfing simulator), a miniature golf course, a miniature water park called the H2O Zone, a video arcade and just for teens, the Living Room (for just hanging out) and Fuel (a teen disco complete with a soft drink bar).  All of these are free except the soft drinks (get a soft drink card if you are going to drink a lot of soft drinks).

From the Royal Caribbean website ...

Our teen program isn't some structured set of classes or rules. We know you're almost an adult, and it's your vacation too. So we give you the freedom you deserve. You can join events all day, or come and go as you want. And we have two great places where you can get away from it all. The Living Room is a laid-back place you can just hang with your new friends. And Fuel is the place where the party is. Open 'til 2 a.m., you can dance, listen to music, or just hang out there.

Activities are scheduled throughout the day and early evening. The Teen Center is open from 10:30 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. each evening. Teens are welcome to come and hang out and join in activities, make new friends, and dance or just listen to music.
