Well, it's highly more likely that your dad is just using a generic nickname for you. "Princess" is pretty popular for fathers to call their daughters.

But then again, it's also entirely possible that someone in your heritage was of noble blood...you could Google it. Type into google "Last name(yours) Genealogy".

Check out your geneology. Because of the way geneology works, many people of European descent can trace one line or another back to Charlemange (sp?)....

I'm sure your Dad wouldn't lie to you. Maybe you are an illegitimate child of Queen Victoria. I heard she was pretty wild in her younger days. Are you adopted?  I would travel to England and bang on the door at Buckingham Palace and demand your inheritance.

Well, if you are a princess, then he is or a crowned prince or something along those lines.....so if you were actually related to royalty, as in the royal family, then you probably would already know.
