i sent a package to london, post code n7, they havnt recieved it, is there a sorting office around that area i can ring to see if its there?

This is the phonme number for the Islington sorting office which I understand covers that postcode area.

If you sent it by means of tracking, ie special delivery or recorded delivery, then you can go to the Royal Mail's website and there is a section there where you can track your parcel. It will tell you if it has been delivered from the nearest sorting office to the destination of the parcel.
