Rub off the nails?

when you get accident then our nails rub off ,they will be so hurt( i mean when nails are losse out of the meat under ) but why your nails grow up n longer,you don't feel any pain?(nails scale up then leave the meat but you don't feel anything at all )

Growing nails is a normal biological process which does not activate the pain sensors in the brain.

Accidental nail distention is a pain eliciting process which registers in the brain.
