Rubber Bands on my Braces?

Ok I just got rubber bands for my braces and they hurt like h**l!!!

Do they ever stop hurting after a couple of days?

Never fear, they will stop hurting.  Then they'll just be annoying for a while.  Then you won't know they're there.  But you HAVE to wear them!  Not wearing them the way your doc says can set you back timewise.

well thier moving your teeth this will last for about a week depending on how much they need to move but, ya they will I wear them too but, only at night now:)

Ya, at first they really suck, but they get much better...to the point that you don't really even feel them anymore. For now, some Advil will do the trick. In a couple of days, you won't even need that. Good luck.

yea

they stop hurting in a few days

but after a while it gets irritating

ive been wearing them for like ever now

YES, just like when your braces get tightened the pain subsides.

I know what you mean, it used to feel like I had meat between my teeth... pressure!!

It will get better when your teeth get used to it... and I hate to tell you the rubber bands get smaller and tighter too!
