Rubber band/ elastics for braces?

i forgot where to wear them

i know where to put it on the(3rd) top (canine)

but would it be from 3 top tooth to 3rd bottom tooth

or 3rd top to 4th bottom?

It depends on what your Orthodontist is trying to achieve.  If they are trying to move lower teeth forward then you want to place in on the hook on the second molar from the back.  Sometimes they may suggest the last molar.  You don't want to guess because that may cause more delay's in getting your braces off.  Call your Dentist!
