  1. agree strongly.

  2. Well it's that or incinerators, not everything can be recycled. Here in Devon they don't take any sort of plastic for recycling and think of the toxic fumes that would give off from an incinerator. So I am afraid that landfills are a necessary evil. So no it doesn't alarm me.

  3. It alarms me greatly as well as a number of other negative things that we're continually doing to our beautiful earth home.. from the biggest to the microscopic.. I was just reading on the BBC about microscopic pieces of dissolving plastic in our oceans (that has washed up on all 7 continents), and more..

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/natur...

There are so many pieces of plastic and garbage that wash up on beaches - it's disgusting what we're ((collectively)) doing..

There's a short video on this link as well, showing the LOAD of trash that can be found on an average beach in 30 minutes..

Anyway.. Looking to better more positive times ahead.. starting with me tightening that leaky tap in the kitchen right NOW! ;)

  4. Too many people are throwing too many good things into the trash instead of giving them to someone who needs them, or wants them. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that a lot of people are just lazy, and it would take some effort, (very little)

on their part, to do something with it, rather than just tossing it into the trash.

  5. Well if global climate change is anywhere near the problem its made out to be, then to protect against rising sea levels, landfill or mostly 'land raising' seems like a good idea.

    Disagree Strongly!

  6. DISGUSTS me we as a nation need to reduce our carbon footprint be greener!

GO EVERYBODY DO YOUR OWN LITTLE BIT AND BE GREENER!

  7. No.

    Don't think so.

Expose the plundering and looting with destruction of God's natural assets on left-overs in doing things at own whims and fancy vital for the survival and advancement of the little ones in time.

    Luke 8.10,17

    What do you think?

  8. Well, certainly I strongly agree. Recycling is the way to go. If you look at what is being done globally then you already know that many nations re-use resources. Do You? i do. My garbage is much less than what i physically take to the recycling center at the Air Force Academy. I am just waiting on responses from my question, but I think that your point is valid.

  9. Agree strongly!

    Try out www.freecycle.org!

  10. Disagree strongly.

  11. We are told that 80% of waste is recyclable and I wonder why it is not being acted upon. When i hear about global warming and that so much waste is shipped from UK to the east I wonder if I am having my leg pulled in respect of global warming

  12. This is the REAL environmental problem, not the psuedo science about global warming.

Pollution and waste disposal are destroying far too much of our resources and are what the government should be talking about, not the "global warming" scam which is only spin to justify raising taxes!

  13. Yes. Much more so than Gore's Flying Dutchman story.
