Rubick's cube patterns?

I know how to make patterns but I just need to know how you put patterns back to normal.

i have now been solving rubix cube for 3-4 weeks in 2min 30sec.

either reverse the pattern (if you moved a side clockwise, do it counter clockwise) and ordered backwards (it the order was lflr do RiLiFiLi if i= inverse)

or just solve it
