Removed the stickers.  The best I could get on it was two sides.

I remember when i first got one in the early nineties me nad my first girlfriend stayed up all night trying to do it without cheating. It was a romantic evening we talked aswell but it was really a cool ice breaker we couldnt do it and she moved to Scotland but exactly one week later i did it she never belived me. Never done one since.

There is a Rubik's Cube buried somewhere at the bottom of my garden ..... with a carving knife stuck through it!

yes sirreee ive done it in 5 min, its not hard once you know the patterns! trust me!  but i do know this asian kid who can do it in under 2 min!

go out and get on  they come with instructions these days!

LOL.  Completed with the help of Youtube.  Removing the stickers just wasn't even practical.  Only one I could beat was Link the Rings, another Rubix puzzle, which came out in the mid 80s

As a child I had dreams of becoming an engineer, so it took me about 5 minutes to work out that a screwdriver pushed into the gap between the corner and middle piece, then twisted, would soon have the whole thing in easily reassembled bits in my hand.  In my book it's not 'how' you get there, it's just the actual getting there that matters.

ive finished it a couple times w/o taking off the stickers. I've never taken off the stickers cus it seems like they wont stick if i put them back on and that's annoying...

one time when it was popular back in the eighties.  It was my third cube.  The other two i did the sticker thing.

i got one when i was like 10.

it took me about 10 years to finish it, but i came out that i did really finish it!! i was soo happy that i went on streets and like told everyone. ( even the people i dont know.) LOL

neither....but, YEARS AGO, when it lst came out, I DRESSED UP LIKE ONE on Halloween.

All the looks I got was worth the effort that was put into it...I painted my face four different colors, got a large box, pasted all different colored construction paper as the squares all over it, and cut holes out for my arms.

After that, I wore green pants, tucked in my hubby's high-top black army boots.

It was lots of fun, but was sure a pain getting in & out of, every time we hit a different bar...but, hey, it DEFINITELY was original, and I was the ONLY one dressed like that! hahaha!
