Question:

Rubik's Cube 4x4?

I have the 3x3 Rubik's Cube pretty much mastered. I'm not the fastest in the world, but I get it done in a little over 3 minutes.

Will the 4x4 cube be very different? Will I be able to figure it out be learning certain patterns to it?

  1. 4x4 is harder than the regular Rubik's cube, because it doesn't have a center and you will have to match up 2 edge pieces. The corners are the same! You can really just put them in the same way you did as 3x3.

You can still do all kind of patterns, but depends on which algorithms you did!

For 4x4, you do have to match up the centers yourself and also put them in the correct order. Such as if you have a scrambled cube, then you'll have to put the colors in the exact spot, like opposite of red is orange and so on. Also you'll have to match up the edges without messing up the centers!

I suggest you look at the solution and think about it yourself!

    Hope this helps!

ps: It's not really that hard after you solve it a couple times.

Good Luck! If you are going to solve it!
