  1. Well. Fastest method for LL is obviously Fridrich. You can either solve OLL and PLL in 4, 3, or 2 looks, w/ 2 looks being the fastest. 2 look is full OLL and PLL, equaling up to 71 cases or so.

Potentially, w/ learning OLL and PLL you can solve the LL in 4 sec. POTENTIALLY. If you practice a lot =]

If you've any further questions or comments don't hesitate to contact me =]

  2. just remember how to put back the other layers

  3. Go to this link and learn all 21 cases of PLL (Permute of last layer):

    http://www.cubestation.co.uk/cs2/index.p...

This is the jessica fridrich method, which is used by most of the speedcubers.

    Hope this would help you!!!

  5. The last layer is all algorithms - all you have to do is learn them and memorize them. The easiest way to do it is in four steps (the second and third steps can be switched around):

1.) Orient edges (flip all the edges correctly)

2.) Orient corners (twist all the corners correctly)

3.) Permute corners (move the corners to their correct locations)

    4.) Permute edges

Here are two sites with solutions for the last layer. For the first one, they are steps 4-7. For the second one, I put an anchor in the link so it should take you to the last layer section:

    Hope this helps! ;D
