I solve the green layer on my rubik's cube, then it says that a row should already be done if you did it correctly. apparently i solve the green layer and theres never a row done already. This is what i do. I get the green cross, then i use the Ri,Di,R,D algorithym until i have the four corners. What am i doing wrong?????

  1. IDK take off the stickers and glue them back on lol good luck:D

  2. I'm not sure if I can help, but I'll give it a try! Okay, you say that you are getting the green cross, but there is a stipulation to getting the cross. All of the green may form a cross, but look at the other color on the cubes that make the cross. (This means that you'll be looking at the sides of the cube if the green is on top.) The other side of the cross-cubes should match the middle cube on each side. If this isn't true, then there's your problem. Once you have the green cross with each part on the correct side (you know what side is which because the middle cube never moves, so if the middle cube is white, you know it's the white side, etc.....), line up the corners and use the Ri, Di, R, D algorithm to finish the row. Viola! One layer solved, two more to go!

And sorry if you already knew this, I'm just trying to help, lol.

It took me a while to understand the directions too, don't worry. Soon you'll be a pro.

  3. Hey!

I believe that you are using the Dan Brown's Method.

But for me, I recommend you to use Tyson's Method and you can watch the video at:

    http://www.rubiks.com/Academy/Tyson%20Vi...

If you solve the cross, that's good!

Now you have to look for the corner with three stickers that has green on it. Then look at the other two colors and determine the side you are going to put between.

Basically, If you have a corner with green, blue and red color stickers then you need to let the green sticker to your left or right side!

And then find the blue and red center, that's where you're going to put the corner at!

Finally do the algorithm or some other ways to put it in the spot!

I don't think I can explain it that clear, but if you go watch the video; it just might help you though!

Good Luck and hope this helps!

ps: If you want to then go to youtube.comand search - "How to solve a Rubik's Cube in under a minute".And then look for chris dzoan at video jug!
