Rubik's Cube?

I had a rubik's cube manual that I was memorizing. I remembered every step apart from step 3. Now I can't memorize it because I lost the manual.Does anyone have the 7 step solution guide that comes with the Rubik's cube and tell me step 3?

Was step 3 when you were putting the middle edges together?

If so, here are the algorithms.  Di Ri D R D F Di Fi to put an edge cube to the right.

D L Di Li D' Fi D F if you want the edge cube to go the left.
