Rubin Kazan keen on signing http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cristian-c9491 Rodriguez – Russian Premier League news
According to reports in Kazan, Russian Premier League giants Rubin Kazan have set their sights on FC Porto winger, Cristian Rodriguez, for the upcoming summer transfer window. It has been rumoured that the Russians are ready to pay 13 million Euros for the
Uruguayan’s services. It has been further reported that the South American has been monitored by Rubin Kazan scouts for a long time now, and the 25-year-old finally seems to have won over the Kazan giants.
The left-sided winger signed for the Dragons from Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain in 2008 and has become an important part of Andre Villas Boas’ side that has romped its way to an unbeaten championship-winning campaign. The winger impressed in Porto’s UEFA
Europa League campaign and it has been suggested that a host of European clubs are monitoring his situation at the club.
With so many FC Porto players along with Boas impressing this season, FC Porto are wildly expected to be heading towards a busy summer transfer window. Rodriguez will be travelling with the rest of his teammates to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 as Porto face Villarreal in the second
leg of the Europa League semi-final on Thursday at El Madrigal. FC Porto have already have an almost unassailable lead over their Spanish rivals after beating them 5-1 at the Estadio do Dragao.
Rodriguez started his professional career with the Uruguayan giants, Penarol, and spent three years with the club before he was signed by Paris Saint-Germain in 2005. After making 36 appearances for Les Parisiens, Rodriguez was loaned out to Portuguese side
Benfica, where he made 24 appearances and scored six goals in the process. In 2008, Rodriguez refused to sign with Benfica on a permanent basis and asked his parent club PSG to sell him to FC Porto instead. Though Rodriguez took some settling down with the
Dragons – largely due to vitriolic abuse from fans – he finally cemented his place in the starting line-up this season under Andre Villas Boas’ guidance.
Cristian Rodriguez has made 38 appearances for the Uruguayan national team so far and has represented http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Oscar-c28720 Tabarez for the Uruguayan side that played in the semi-final of the
World Cup in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gabriel-Heinze-c14310, in the qualifying campaign of the World Cup.
