http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Eduardo-c12034 has had a good debut Russian Premier League season but failed to stay fit during the second season after sustaining a knee injury. Though the attacker got successfully operated upon his knee in March 2011, the injury kept
the midfielder away from the pitch for an unfortunate nine months.
However, the midfielder believes that he is fit to play again after immense hard work and assured the fans of prolific performances once he regains match fitness.
“My transfer is difficult. But everyone knows that I really want to go back to Brazil. It has been quite a long time since I left Europe and working away from my home. It’s becoming rather difficult for me to keep in touch with
my family.” The Rio Grande do Sul State League winner was quoted as saying.
The promising midfielder went on to admit that Rubin will to let him leave the Kazan-based club easily and urged the Brazilian club to meet the asking price. Eduardo was transferred to the Russian outfit for 20 million Euros last
year.
Besides the home-sickness reason, the Brazilian national admitted that he came to the Russian outfit to play in UEFA Europa League, but he did not that he was cup-tied.
According to the rule books, a player who has played in the Europa League group stage for one team cannot play for another team in the ongoing European tournament.
"Gremio have already made a firm proposal for taking me on a season long loan but the Tatary have subsequently denied the proposal and said that the transition is impossible. But I am still confident of a move away from the Russian
Premier League. Lets wit and see what happens.” Eduardo said.
The 24-year-old admitted that it’s now highly unlikely that any European club will sign him during the winter transfer window and lamented the situation.
