Tatary had a decent start to the European campaign last term beyond any shadow of the doubt, having claimed a top spot on their respective group table. Kurban Berdyev’s men reached the knockout phase of the tournament after claiming
some memorable wins in the group stages.
The Russian outfit remained unbeaten in the group stages and managed to shock the world after claiming a 3-0 win against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan at Tsentralnyi Stadium back in November last year.
Rubin then defeated the defending European champions, Atletico Madrid, in the round-of-32 with a 2-1 score-line on aggregate. The Russian outfit suffered a 1-0 defeat in the return leg against the Madrid-based club before claiming

Rubin qualified for the European tournament after claiming a sixth spot on the league table last season.

News in Russian media suggests that the St. Petersburg club may include http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Aleksandr-Bukharov-c4555 in the deal after Rubin’s president, Ishakov, expressed a desire to sign the 28-year-old striker.
Ishakov confirmed that Zenit are interested in signing Ansaldi. However, he remained tight lipped over giving the details of any potential deal between the two clubs.
