Question:

Rude to switch hair stations at the same salon?

I've been to this salon once. The gal did a pretty good job. I was very satisfied, and so was my boyfriend, sis and mom. I never get my hair done, so pretty much anything was better than what I had before. I decided to continue going to the salon every single month.

However, I noticed while I was in there, the gal two stations over did excellent work on a lady who was older than I was, but the coloring was awesome. I couldnt believe she had achieved that color in one sitting. (which was a long one, and the pricing for what she did was unbeatable)

So im wondering....what is the best way to switch to the next gal over without offending the girl who helped me before?

I am going back in just a few days from now.

and...Im just wondering what should I say, if one day im sitting in the other gals chair instead of hers?

Will she get offended?

Thanks!

  1. I had the same problem.

I simply asked for Jane instead of Rima. Rima looked a little sad, but then I'm the consumer and I'm still going to the same salon, so it's understandable. I'M the one getting my hair done, anyway. I'd want to  be done the right way.

    Jane was awesome!

    you are the paying customer

you should get what you pay for, the girl will understand if you switch people

she might even be new , fresh out of school

    you do what you want

    if you want pretty hair!
