The Lille coach is hoping to get a positive result on Saturday to get their campaign back on track, when Les Dogues take on Les Girondins at Stade Chaban Delmas
LOSC are off to a worst possible start in the 2012/2013 Ligue 1 campaign and are 10th in the league with just 10 points after 8 games.
However, Rudi Garcia’s side has been impressive in last couple of games and looks on track to find their best form once more. Following the win over AC Ajaccio in the previous Ligue 1 encounter, anything but a victory would be unacceptable to the coach.
While talking to reporters at a press conference, coach, Rudi Garcia stated that the win in the previous game has restored team’s confidence and players are confident of getting a positive result on Saturday.
The coach is pleased with the fact that his side kept a clean sheet against Ajaccio and has urged his side to continue playing like that if they want to achieve their targets this season. The 48-year-old added that scoring goals is always pleasing for any
side, but doing that and keeping a clean sheet at the same time, is amazing.
“It was important for our confidence to get the win against Ajaccio in the last game. The side showed that by trying hard they are capable of scoring goals and keeping a clean sheet at the same time.”
Talking about the game against Bordeaux, who are still unbeaten in the league, Garcia said that Les Girondins are in fine form at the moment and playing them at their stadium would be tough.
“Now we're going to Bordeaux with the idea of pulling off a feat: to beat a side who is unbeaten this season.”

However, the coach is optimistic about his side’s chances and is confident of getting a positive result on Saturday.
“They've got serious physical qualities and they play with a lot of speed. They master a number of systems and they'll be difficult to move around so it will be an interesting challenge for us."
