The French tactician has backed the duo to seek their true form, and silence their critics with a display of impressive performances. Garcia wants the players to be consistent performers while playing for Les Dogues.

the situation seems glum for Les Dogues. Rudi Garcia, however, believes that supporters are unhappy, and the booing would eventually stop once the players regain their lost form.
The French outfit have been disappointing following their early Champions League exit. Moreover, the Lille-based club have not been able to register a win during their last 4 fixtures in the Ligue 1, which lands them at 11th spot in the league
table.
Les Dogues went on to recruit extra firepower last summer, bringing Chelsea striker, Salomon Kalou, and AS Saint-Etienne midfielder, Dmitri Payet (in the summer of 2011), to the Grande Stade Lille Metropole. The club had massive expectations of the two and
believed that the duo would help the French side chase their European dream, as well as helping them finish in the top four, by the end of the season.
Despite a good start, the new signings have been unable to settle properly with their new club. The players are being consistently scrutinized for their unimpressive displays; the fans even went to the extreme of booing them during the last few games.
Lille coach, Rudi Garcia, has an entirely different opinion regarding the situation. The Frenchman believes that both players would be playing important roles for the former French champions, despite them not being featured in the starting line-up lately.
While talking about Payet, the tactician said:
"He made a good start against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 but he had no success. He was also effective against Sochaux at the weekend and played a part in the goal for Nolan (Roux). He must, however, do that more regularly."
Garcia also ensured the fans that Kalou’s poor performance is just a minor setback, hoping the Ivorian would be performing well, soon enough.
