Question:

Rudi Johnson trade??

Do you think Rudi Johnson will get traded now that the Bengals have opened up talks to other teams? If so, they say they need a "legitimate receiver" in exchange. So who do you think would be interested in this trade and who would be the player(s) to be traded?

  1. 1. Anquan Boldin for Rudi and a Pick.

    2. Roy Williams for Rudi and a Pick.

  2. Nobody will take Rudi Johnson.  He is too old, too slow and is easily injured.  And his salary is too high for most teams' cap this late in the season.

CIN is probably going to release Rudi, so they're just trying to get something in return.

  3. Detroit - Roy Williams for Rudi Johnson.

  4. I don't think it's a good deal for other teams.  You have Johnson coming off a season full of injuries and they want a legit receiver for him.  Why not keep your receiver and pick up Shaun Alexander who was injury plagued as well?  If he doesn't work out you release him where as in Johnson's case, you don't have a running back or the receiver you traded for him

  5. Detroit would just be stupid to trade Calvin Johnson...hes got so much upside for the Lions. I think a better trade would be Anquan Boldin for Rudi and a 3rd or 4th round pick. First of all, he wants out of AZ and they could use another bruising RB to pair up with Edgerin James. Edge is getting old and cant handle the entire load like he used to so Rudi would be a nice fit there. I like Ted Ginn coming here because I'm an Ohio State fan and Bengals fan but they also have Ronnie Brown coming back and Sticky Icky Ricky Williams...dont forget about him! So Miami is out of the question. Detroit could be a good fit but they could only get Mike Furrey or Shaun McDonald straight up for Rudi. Honestly I dont think anything will happen and the bengals will have a S****y year.

  6. OK c_estr619 he said "LEGITIMATE" receiver lol................  I agree with the other guy though ROY WILLIAMS is a free agent next year and Detroit should try to get something for him before he decides to go to a WINNER next year for 70milling $$$

  7. I think the Dolphins might be interested and maybe trade Ted Ginn and a pick for Johnson

  8. I read that article on ESPN, and they make it sound like they have no options at wide out. They still have T.J. and Johnson expects to be back for the opener. They also just gave Henry a second chance.

I agree with the guy talking about the lions, but Williams might be a bit too much for Johnson. Maybe Shaun McDonald would be closer to fair for both teams.

  9. Uh Rudi is only 27 first off and second he is goodwhen healthy watch h**l have a big year i think Rudi and a 3rd round pick for calvin johnson
