Nevertheless, Voeller is confident that the experienced playmaker can bounce back and reclaim his form as well as fitness.
Voeller said, "We could never have seen his injury problems coming. I'm confident that Ballack and Leverkusen are still a good combination. We are full of ambition and we need a fully fit http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michael-Ballack-c25270 to achieve our goals. He will never give up just because things aren't going as expected at the moment. He really wants to fight back and I'm sure he'll be successful in doing so.”
Werkself are currently placed second in the league table, trailing the league leaders Borussia Dortmund by mammoth 10 points. With 12 matches to play in the season, Leverkusen will be looking to cement their second place in the league table. Ballack has not been the regular part of the Bundesliga outfit, but he will eagerly want to return to the first team action.
Ballack is vastly experienced, as he has represented his national side and played for the top notch clubs as well. The 34-year-old midfielder has not been in his best of form, and struggled to maintain his fitness this season. Voeller confidence in the playmaker can only be justified by the German international exceptional records in the past.
