Rudy g*y likely to play in a re-match between Goodman and Drew League on Sunday – NBA News
Memphis Grizzlies forward Rudy g*y is likely to play on Sunday in a highly anticipated re-match between the Goodman League and Drew League.
g*y was injured midway through the 2010-2011regular season, when he partially dislocated his left shoulder and could not play further. However he has been recovering very fast and now he is expected to play in an exhibition game
on Sunday in Los Angeles.
About two weeks ago, g*y was in Pensacola, Florida, where he had a complete check-up with his doctor who later told him as he can play basketball. At that time, he had said;
"I've been shooting for about 2½ months now. Shooting and dribbling and trying to see if I can play some games soon, it’s a surgery, so I'm always going to feel a little different. It's getting back. It's no weaker. It's getting
stronger. This is the longest I’ve ever been from the game. That’s the biggest thing. I like the camaraderie, the competition. That’s my job. Whenever you are not able to do your job, that’s tough.”
The re-match between Washington D.C. based Goodman League and Los Angeles based Drew league is scheduled on 9th October in Los Angeles at Walter Pyramid around 6:30 PM Eastern. These two teams met before on August 10th
at Trinity University where Goodman League came out victorious 134-135.
Along with Rudy g*y, many other NBA stars will also be playing in this Pro-Am League All Star game including Oklahoma City Thunder’s exceptional talent Kevin Durant, Washington Wizards’ guard John Wall, Denver Nuggets’ T.Y. Lawson,
San Antonio Spurs’ Gary Neal, Sacramento Kings’ Tyreke Evans, DeMarcus Cousins, Donte Green, Minnesota Timberwolves’ Michael Beasley, Memphis Grizzlies’ Josh Selby and Sam Young, Oklahoma City Thunders’ James Harden, Toronto Raptors’ DeMar DeRozan, Washington
Wizards’ Nick Young, and JaVale McGee, Golden State Warriors’ Dorell Wright, Milwaukee Bucks’ Brandon Jennings, Los Angeles Clippers’ Craig Smith, Sacramento Kings’ Pooh Jeter, and Memphis Grizzlies’ Marcus Williams.
With the NBA in a lockout, these exhibition games are a good source of entertainment for all the basketball lovers who want to see their beloved players on court.
