Ruffian, Ruffian, Ruffian???

Question

Ok I am making a Barbaro and Ruffian video to put on youtube. I have TONS of Barbaro pictures but not really any Ruffian pictures.

So I was wondering a few good sites I could go to so I can find some really good pictures! Including The Great Match race, like if there is a picture of her getting pulled up. (I know it sounds horriable but it will make the video complete)

So sites would be good! Please list them below!

This is for 1.Barbaro was euthanized because he had developed laminitis in one of his hooves.Horses have to distribute weight evenly on all 4 legs or the hoof that is bearing more weight will develop laminitis which is painful.Barbaro was probably still favoring his broken leg and the decision was made by his vet to humanely destroy him.

Mel- Try looking up Ruffian's name in Wikipedia or under the names of famous race horses in places like Google. That should lead to you a site where there are some photos you can use.

As for "1" : Barbaro DIED of laminitis, or founder- no one murdered him, as you imply in your response. He lived long enough after the Preakness for the original fractures to heal, but in the end, the DISEASE proved to be too much for him to fight, and he was humanely destroyed to spare him further pain. It might interest you to know that the vet who did all the surgery on the colt, and was responsible for all his care, was in TEARS on the morning the colt died last January- and so were MILLIONS of others, including the asker.  You do those who loved that colt and cared for him an insult by implying that he was murdered.

I don't think there's any pictures of Ruffian being pulled up... there are video clips of it on youtube, but I don't know if you can put video in your video or just pictures.
