What is he talking about in this song? Is this spritual song or what? I don't understand. I hear it all the time on different shows. It was featured on the L Word and also Shrek.

Jeff Buckley does a version of that song that is amazing! I dont think the song is spirtual although there are some bible references in there. i think its about the hard times of love and sticking with someone through the good times and bad.

i take it to mean that life and love are confusing. there will be hard times, but it&#039;s all worth it.
