  1. body armour was initially designed to wear only in training to reduce the stress of repetetive drills on the skin and reduce bruising in high impact areas.  i dont think they really offer any major benefit to reducing the impact in regards to injury... its is so thin- do you really think it will help???  most injuries or joint dislocations or ligament tears anyway- body armor isnt going to help that.  mostly it is an attitude you're putting on when you wear body armor- you feel tougher- more invinsible.  Scrum caps shouldnt be used just becasue you had a cocncusion- they wont help that!!!  theyre used mostly by locks and props to combat cauliflower ears.   i feel that body armor tends to get in the way and is hotter.  thats my opion though!  definitely wear a mouth guard- not only do they protect your teeth, but they also protect you from concusions (which are caused many times when your jaw is slammed into you skull by a blow).

  2. Wot?!? if you want to play rugby you've got to be strong + it dosn't really help.

  3. Body armor in Rugby??? Here's what you should use in rugby. Anything more is pointless.

    1. mouth guard (won't always help)

    2. jock strap with cup (gotta protect the jewels)

    3. electrical tape to pin your ears against your head (so they don't get ripped off in the scrum)

  4. Well... If oyur ap ussy you cna wear it, but If your not...

  5. nah you must have rugby mixed up with that sissy american football you dont wear body armour in rugby

  6. it can help but only in minor collisions and scrapes however if ur confidence needs boosting it may be for u especially after injuries take habana wud he be the same rugby player without all his padding?no cos he wudnt get himself in the same situations
