Rugby 06 (PS2) World League question?

If I buy a player when he is 20 and his rating is, say, 63, will his rating rise as his career progresses? I really want to develop a good player over the course of maybe 10 years.

  1. G'day I Can't handle the truth,

    Thanks for your question.

I haven't played the game. However, a rugby league player generally peaks as he reaches the late 20s as he becomes more experienced.

If the game is realistic, it will allow for career development.

    Regards

  2. I also do not know about the game, but as other people have not answered about the game specifically, I can offer some advice.

You could do a test case, and see if the player does get better.  You could do this in a number of ways.

    - Make two save files for the current World League (if possible).  Play one, and see whether the players rating rises.  If so, you can either continue on, or go back to the original.

    - Start another World League, and get a player and test as per above.

This way, you can keep the World League that you are currently using, just in case you have done well and do not want to lose the information.  But, you may only be able to have one World League save, thats when a second memory card comes in handy.  Copy your current saves from the memory card you are using, to the other memory card.  Then play the second memory card and find out.
