how do rugby league players get paid? per game or a weekly paycheck?

also, do players that go to State of Origin get paid a bonus for those games?

Their paid a salary, monthly and taxed like everyone else. Bonuses are paid at the end of the calander month for Representative duties. Its a long way from the incentive contracts most of us had way back when most players also worked for a living.

Rugby League players get paid on a salary (monthly) if thats the agreement just depends.

When playing rep football yes they do get a bonus but a bigger bonus if they win the series. This includes playing for Australia or NZ etc.
