Rugby - PPV!!!!!?

I just had to pay $14.95 to get a whole set of sports channels so I could watch rugby one "One" of Them. I do not want the other channels nor do I really want to pay for them - But I did. Then I discover that 2 of the 3 games tomorrow are on PAY PER VIEW. I think Yahoo would pull this posting I I used the words I really want to about this. So I will just say that I think this sucks and that ripping the customer off has reached a new level.

DUDE... you have found a brother in arms on this one.  I have been bleating about Setanta sports for the last few days on these forums (I assume you are talking about Setanta sports).

They have the biggest rip off scam around.  Ordering their channel is not good enough, you have to use PPV for most of the matches or wait MORE than a whole day for them on delay.  I sent a big expletive filled e-mail to them and they replied that I had to use PPV on the tv, or I could pay more money to use their broadband service... and then still use PPV for matches or I had to hope a local bar would have Setanta Premium and would be good enough to open up at between 3-7am depending on where I was in North America.

Setanta are the biggest money grabbing scam artists in rugby.  I HIGHLY recommend that EVERYONE from North America on these forums send them e-mails to complain about their coverage.  It's also a shame that the IRB doesn't take the quality of coverage into account when assigning broadcasting rights.... too greedy for the money instead.
